just a few years short of his fathers age, when he died.

never saw any of Robbie's work, in fact, rarely if ever saw or wanted to see any of his dad's as well.

that sorta stuff never had any meaning to me.

i'm certain however, so many others enjoyed and flocked to see each one.

    RIP

Rest in peace, Robbie. Such a uniquely American family of daredevils.

Article has quotes from his sister Kelly. I met her many years ago in Indianapolis.

back in my younger years, i was slightly interested in fishing sport tv shows, like the ABC show each week, Wide World of Sports, and some of the actors, and other well knowns, out on a lake, or the ocean.

maybe the Pro Bowlers Tour as well, from time to time.(Dick Webber, Tony Petraglia, etc)

motor sports, unless it was (back then known as) Stock car racing, maybe drag racing. (Cale Yarborough,(sp?), AJ Foyt, Don Prudhomme, etc, etc)

dare devils were just not a part of my thing to watch or have any interest in.

in fact, i recall that ill fated Grand Canyon stunt by Evil.......what a waste of my time, that day, as YES, i did watch that as it was advertised so much, and i had to see it......i could have been watching something else. all that hype...much like a super bowl game, nothing but "fizzle"

i think after that failure to jump that canyon, sealed any more wanna look-see's at a dare devil.
