Will Robo Trucks Be Able To Hook & Drop Trailers??
Will Air/Electric Connects Be Incorporated Into 5th Wheels?
Automatic Trailer Doors (Rollup/Down?)or Still Require Human or Robo-Human Intervention?
Why Would Robo Trucks Need Windscreens and Door Windows As Cameras will "See All" Yes?
Then There'll Be Robo Rescue Trucks For When Robo Trucks Break Down?

Yeah, because human drivers in trucks don’t kill people on a daily basis.

If a driver kills someone they may lose their cdl.
If a robot truck kills someone an entire fleet of robot trucks nationwide may be put out of service .

That's why the driver will always have a place in the truck, I predict the future will see human drivers team driving with automated systems. Anything goes wrong the driver still makes a handy scapegoat, good luck getting the robot to pull over so you can shower.

The beginning and final mile are the hardest the in between (most otrs money-cpm) will be automated first, the rest needs better infrastructure. My job (p&d ltl) most likely will be the last to be automated...hopefully. still got 30 years to go for me.

I was pretty down on the whole idea until someone mentioned the robot wife
I would gladly trade my cdl for a wife that did not talk back or divorce me and take all my stuff

    lual and prostartom Thank this.
