I'm an "empty nest-er", and I don't hang around on reddit.
This forum is about as "tech" as I get.....so, there it is.Boondock, Rubber duck kw, Val_Caldera and 2 others Thank this. -
All I can say is that once social media became a thing in the mid 2000s, I was a proverbial shoo-in.Boondock and homeskillet Thank this. -
On to the broken window. I'm just going to duct tape some Lowe's plastic sheeting to the replaced window after it gets fixed. After that scare, I figure an added layer of clear plastic will act as a sort of shield for the regular glass. At this point I'm now too paranoid of "lightning striking twice". I mean a rock thrown up can't do much damage to a clear plastic sheet put up over the new tempered glass.
That and I don't plan on ever opening the window. I usually just crack the door slightly if I need to talk to someone at the gate.Boondock Thanks this. -
The "Plastic Sheeting" might grab the attention of some d.o.t. wanker and maybe geet u a ticket for "unclear/distorted vision thru window" or something written in d.o.t. incomphrehenunsensibility (or a werd er 2 to that effect).
drvrtech77, Boondock, 201 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I'll just do it and explain in the case of a pullover. I mean, the sheeting is clear enough to pass as glass.Boondock and Val_Caldera Thank this. -
Boondock, mtoo and bentstrider83 Thank this.
