    Hello Guys & Gals,

I'mFrom Dallas Tx & I Just Got My Class A CDL (11/2011) With All Of My Endorsements IE Double&Triples/Tankers/Hazmat. The Thing Is I Didn't Go To A Trucking School, I Did All Of My Studying From Home And I Found A Company That Allowed Me To Rent Their Truck & They Also Taught Me How To Drive It. I Have A Perfect Driving Record & No Criminal History What So Ever.

Im Looking For A Job Where I Can Be Home Everyday (Local Nights Or Days) or Making Runs To Houston, Austin, Waco, Shreveport or Oklahoma.

Do You Guys Now Where I Can Begin Looking & Making Contact? (Companies, Industry's, Links, Names or Numbers....etc)

Thanks For All Of Your Help & Your Community It Amazing!!!:biggrin_25525:

Whoa man capping every work... to crazy this early.

However, I can't shed light on companies that have those runs so I will not recommend any. However for most companies that are larger they will require some school accreditation showing you went to school to learn. Mostly the schools talk about CSA which is rather important you learn.

Good luck driver and welcome to trucking.

What about the company that trained you? Stick with them a while and then after a year switch to local.....regional? I cant imagne they would not want some pay back for what they have invested in you? They stuck their neck out for a newbe, now give them a little pay back and after a few months, reap the rewards.

First of all, Congratulations. You are the one We have been waiting for. You did all this from your home. Went and took the test, and talked them into renting a truck to you, TAUGHT YOU HOW TO DRIVE IT. Im very impressed with how you did this. Now there are drivers, that went to school, no job, and a $6k truck driving school bill. What ever your doing, Keep doing. Great post. Thanks. In 1974, It was a little easier for some of us. Walked into a company," Boss asked, You know how to drive?" Yes ! Boss: " Go get your picture taken". :biggrin_2559:
