Going to unload in Casper early tomorrow morning and need to run up to a mine in Alva, Aladdin, WY.
Been across 90 and 80 many times, just not familiar with the area I put myself in. Weather shouldn’t be an issue at all.

Time won’t be on my side (should have 5+ hours to make it) and taking 25 north to 90 looks like a lot of unnecessary miles.

    Thinking to take I-25 N to 387 then 50 north to 90.
    Anyone run 387 to 50?
I don’t want to put myself somewhere I’m going to regret.

I used to take that route all the time to get from Casper to Gillette. Take 259 going through Midwest then get on 387 to 50 or 59 if there is no snow. They are slow on clearing that last part.

Thanks, I really appreciate the help.
I didn’t include 259 because it looked like it wouldn’t save much time vs I-25 to 387.

it saves a little bit of time, and if you are hungry there's an awesome truck stop at Midwest where you can get an incredible burrito made any way you like.

You can safely ignore the gillete weigh station that they want you to stop in at and bring your papers. If you do go there then it will be a 10 mile detour just to find the place and no one will ever stop you. I bypassed it probably a hundred times without any trouble.

when heading north on the state highway that is, do not bypass it if you're on I-90. You might see a sign that says truck route to the weigh station but if you take that route like I said it's going to be about 10 miles of wondering where the hell you are actually going.
