Route decision.. Beach, ND to Caldwell, ID.

    If you have a 48' trailer then running up US-12 in ID to I-90 is a "bucket list" route to take at least once.

    So long as you don’t mind running 35 mph for 3 hours up that winding ### road. Definitely not a winter route.

    It’s not that bad. You can average 45 pretty easy. When I worked for Cliff we run it all the time. And 13 and 95 down to Boise.

    I've not drove 12. Only 195 from lewiston, to Spokane.

    Heading south it has a warning sign. "winding road next 99 miles". You run most of it though a forest next to a river, very scenic, especially in the winter.
