I am pulling an oversize load to BNSF rail yard at the corner of Walter Strawn Dr and Baseline Rd. I remember last year reading several articles about Walter Strawn Dr at 53 being closed. I am wondering for the sake of routing if Walter Strawn Dr is still closed at 53? If so, does anyone know a good truck route into BNSF rail yard. I plan on running north on I 57 out of Missouri and getting off around Kankakee. I would also consider running North to St Louis to I 55, but it adds about 25 miles to the trip. Any additional information would be helpful, never been to the BNSF rail yard or for that matter to Elwood or the surrounding area. Thanks
