I bet guys here do better but I think I'm doing alright. I don't follow their plan.

Ain't this some ########. The loaded trailer I picked up the yard loses 70 lbs of air in an hour. The trailer abs dash light is on, but the abs light on the trailer isn't. When I ever get a door and unloaded at Walmart,I will be taking it right back to the yard and writing it up. I am not dropping this garbage at Tyson.

 

This may or may not affect us going up into Seattle, depending on your route.

Do I fix this trailer that was swapped to me with a flat spotted tire and non working abs light...or do I just pass the buck since my next load will be a drop and hook Tyson probably...

Its getting old...

 

Ok so I got the trailer fixed. Now...I'm going to preface this with..I do not condone tire theft at all. Its shady....but...

For some reason JCT wanted them to put two brand spanking new Michelin XDN STEER tires on this trailer. Like the ones that come with our trucks.

I am coveting the tires on the trailer so hard. (Even though mine only have 75K on them...)

 

Never mind...breakdown woke me up to go back to the shop and get different ones ....

Feel like I've been up all night...oh wait

 

@Kamkor I feel your pain. I lost the Tyson load yesterday because WalMart took way too long. So, I get a load to pick up at Bama in Tulsa. I bring the crappy trailer back to the yard and put in the shop. I go talk to Ron about getting another trailer. There aren't any at all. The only other empty is in the shop also.

So, I wait around and a couple of hours later Ron calls me. Turns out that he was just told about 7 rental trailers sitting at Utility in Tulsa ready for pickup hours ago. So, I go get one and head over to Bama. I talk to them and they don't even have the product to load and told to come back at 10am. This is an hour and a half before the appt time of 1700.

So, I call Ron and tell him. He ain't happy about it either. He ask if I could drop that empty there so they load it whenever they feel like it and if I could bring back another empty as there is four left to pick up. Sure no problem. Utility had moved them all outside the gate since they were getting ready to close. So, me and another driver drove through evening Veterans Day traffic for two round trips to shuttle the rentals back to the yard. Got done at around 630pm and my day started at 630am.

I still have to come back to the yard after picking up my loaded at Bama so the shop can put the triple diamond logo on the reefer and on the doors.

 

We have 12 long term rental trailers now. You will now the rental from the standard trailer very easily. They also start with RR for the trailer number.
