    Laredo texas . got to first stop at 0740 appointment they took till 1250pm then second appointment was missed so I had to wait overnight to come back:( 6 days on an 1100 mile load. The detention and layover better be worth it.

    And that right there is why I won't pull reefers again. Way too much sitting.

    You can end up SITTING with whatever kind of TRAILER your pulling its just not REEFERS

    Longest I've ever sat pulling tanks is maybe 3 hours and that's cause a tank ruptured and had to be emergency offloaded to contain the spill.

    Good for you I sat for 48 hours pulling tank as the PRODUCT was contaminated , also sat a on a construction site with a drop deck for 3 days waiting on the decision if they wanted the A/C unit or not , so in 43 years I had my share of sit & wait regardless what I was dragging behind me including REEFERS

    Final done with my load. 8 hours to load 16 hours drive time 8 hours at inspection then another 6 at the transfer station. I know its not normal but it is annoying when it happens. I spent more time sitting the driving smh.

    update
    Hubby got to Laredo today off loaded took a long time he said. And said its tuff getting loads out of Laredo but he got one heading 300 miles. He said he was glad to be out of Laredo. Be safe and well out there folks

    Of course I can. With the way the lease payment works lower miles equal lower payment and vice versa. Even with a low week I will have a positive settlement. As long as I drive 400 miles I break even.
