1. Next time you are at the yard, give them the RO # that is on your settlement. They will be able to print out a copy of the invoice. See either the shop foreman or Kevin upstairs.
2. The proper procedure to send in any DOT inspection is as follows: Call John Mallory immediately and let him know you got a DOT inspection. Take a trip pak envelope and fill out the top info (name, truck, trailer, load #). Cross out P/U & Del Boxes and write DOT INSPECTION ACROSS. (I use a marker to make it stand out). You may also fax as Macho says, but you'll pay for a fax.
3. A clean DOT inspection is $25.00, not $50.00

Loved the 20+ mph tail wind all the across Wyoming. At one point it was 50+ tail wind. Hoping the tail wind continues across Nebraska.
crxdc Thanks this. -

I was W/B across 80/94 at the bottom of Lake Michigan week before last when that bad windstorm swept down and tore up Chicagoland. I was MT and it was a BUGGER catching it straight from the side like that. Talk about a wiggle wagon! I was just glad I wasn't up on 90. I heard it blew an MT rig over on it's side. Was sure glad to get away from that. Head, tail or even catching it on the quarters, sucks when its a head wind, great when its from behind but MT or light; catching it straight broadside is a tough one. Makes for a real long trip.

I am stopped at the Sapp Bros in Sydney, NE and the wind is rocking my truck like a rocking chair.
Had to put the truck in FL shop. DEF stopped working again. This time it was just a clogged line. It was out in two hours. No warranty on that and cost a massive $185 for the fix. -
The last fill up was in Laramie, Way. Avg was 7.93mpg. That was with a head wind and pulling hills on I-15 and pulling the hills and 20mph tail wind on I-80. Didn't get the strong tail wind til after fill up.

Got here to Appleton, WI 24hrs ahead of schedule. Already have a preplan to pickup in Green Bay going to Arlington, TX.
Ran some numbers. This load from Lemoore, CA to Appleton, WI paid a total of $931.60 in fuel surcharge. I spent only $688.84 (186.349 gallons) on fuel. That is an extra $242.72 in my pocket. Just for running 57 mph. And I still have half a tank of fuel. My next pickup is only 30 miles away in Green Bay going to Arlington, TX.
These two loads should net me around $2k on the week of the 19th if I play my fuel purchase just right.
Anyone else having an issue with the EFS fuel route page not loading? Just shows a blank white page on my phone. Usually works.crxdc and Jarhed1964 Thank this.
