Salem OR to Las Vegas NV winter route?

You won't regret it. That route is one of the prettier drives in the entire state. As you climb up the west side of the summit, keep an eye out for the waterfalls along the road. You'll know you're close when you see a small river on the right side. Then just keep your eyes open as you continue up.

 

I always run OR 58 to US 97 to OR 140 to OR 39 to CA 139 to CA 299 to US 395 to I-80 to US 95 to Vegas. Shortest route. I live near Yakima, WA and get sent to OR a lot coming out the house to load. Willamette Pass is only one gotta worry but Ive only chained up once going across it. Beautiful scenery up there though.

 

@PermanentTourist. You wouldn't happen to be delivering to the convention center would you?

 

Or 5 97 395/80/95 or scenic 101 is a nice drive to 80 to 95( motorcycle route, opps)
