    Trying to make sense of what I'm reading vs what i've "heard"

    Individuals or businesses that purchased a new 2010 or later truck tractor with a GVW in excess of fifty-four thousand pounds (54,000 GVW) on or after July 1, 2011, and use this vehicle in interstate commerce. A separate application must be completed for each vehicle. The application must be accompanied by proof of payment of Colorado state sales and/or use taxes paid by the taxpayer associated with the purchase. Applications without the requested documentation will not be processed. Documentation should include:

    This is for CO

    From w.colorado.gov/pacific/tax/sales-tax-instructions-and-forms

    DR0202

    This is the 389 i'm looking at.
    VIN: 1XPXD49X4KD274497; X15 Cummins Engine Manufacturer 565 Horsepower; Tandem Axle; Yes Engine Brake; 3.36 Ratio; 290 in Wheelbase; 53,200 lb Gross Vehicle Weight;

    based on this , i would not be entitled to a refund. Am i missing something...
