Greetings, wanted to warn everyone here of another scam broker that is using a chameleon carrier to book loads from other Legit brokers then posting on DAT for high rates... Getting carriers to deliver, cashing in their BOLs and leaving the carriers unpaid.

Right now these scam artists have about a dozen claims in the last week.

DAT has been notified, unsure if they've taken action yet.

This is why Brokerage Authority and bonding need to be addressed.

75k bonds need to be raised to 750k (just like a Carrier liability insurance) for scammers like this, leaving long lists of carriers unpaid.

Their bonding companies need to be verified by FMCSA also.

These scammers are using Gray's bonding and Surety which I've tried contacting multiple times and they seem to be a scammer front as well

The Fake Carrier address comes back to a shopping mall mail company in Phoenix AZ.

So you booked a load with Freight haulers and then East West posted it and double brokered your load?

Contact for Freight Haulers, with 6 month authority out of LV is one EVA ARUTIUNIAN - any ian or yan last name is likely Armenian... and i know there are at least 75 brokerages operating in Armenia and that just double broker all day long. They own factoring companies and insurance and are into real estate. They have most of the MC#s in the Glendale area of CA but also now in CO and ID and other states - think hot housing markets. Id bet $50 dollars that Freight Haulers doesn't have a DAT account - one way to catch them is if they call on your DAT posting without a DAT account. Probably have Crossroads factoring too.

See the other threads on here for lists of the double brokering carrier and broker MC#s. This #### is out of control.

Why make everyone pay more because of them?
That’s like saying We need to raise our insurance 7.5 million instead of 750k because there’s some idiot rolled in the ditch a few miles behind you.

"Specifically, regulators killed provisions requiring rail cars carrying hazardous flammable materials to be equipped with electronic braking systems to stop trains more quickly than conventional air brakes. Norfolk Southern had previously touted the new technology — known as Electronically Controlled Pneumatic (ECP) brakes — for its “potential to reduce train stopping distances by as much as 60 percent over conventional air brake systems.”

In a nutshell, those ECP brakes being mandatory on hazmat flammable materials loads, and mandating companies like Norfolk Southern to notify states they intend to haul said chemical through could have done a lot to mitigate the extent of the disaster we just had, and possibly any future accidents. Moral of the story - companies like Norfolk gonna do what they want unless someone orders them to comply and/or sets rules for them to operate under. Same with the double brokering scammers. Need clear rules in place to shut them down or force them to comply with industry.

"could have done a lot to mitigate the extent of the disaster we just had"

I live in Ohio. Followed all of it closely......I see no connection.

Take the politics to the correct forum. Has nothing to do with this thread.
