    scania has assembly factory in Mexico, they can build them there and use NAFTA loophole, and Mexico speked Scania would work in USA. I read that mexicans really like them and buying more every year

    That would certainly help get around the tariff/chicken tax. If they offer a manual transmission in one I’d definitely take it. Scania trucks were very popular in the Northeast, they still have parts warehouses stateside so product support wouldn’t be an issue.
