For lease purchase, a new truck is the way to go because most of the new trucks have 4yr 500k miles warranty. The problem is finding a carrier that will be able to generate consistant revenue.

I had a Quality lease, 2016 Cascadia last year and went to two different carriers. Both carriers sucked (StarFreight LLC and Daily Express). Had to return the truck after running 70k miles. Truck ran great with no issues at all. Got 7.5mpg averaged. Truck payment was 695/week.

Good thing about Quality Trucks is that it is a walk away lease. No hit on my credit report.

Where did you pick the truck up at? Indy? Texas? Is there plenty of 2016 low mileage trucks available?

Don't be fooled by load boards.Just because they let you pick your freight doesn't mean there are unlimited choices on there.and if you think that a company can't still play favorites because they run a load board your wrong they will simply call those favorites and offer the load to them before it ever gets posted.Your wanting to do a L/P because your under the impression your going to make more money how much more then a company driver with a decent job do you think your going to make?having a dispatcher isn't so bad they have more experience loading trucks then you do just from reading your post.

Hi, just did some quick checking on figures here,
    Lone Mtn- 2017 Lonestar- 7,500 DOWN-646 a week-2584 a month-term 60 month= 162,600$
    Quality 2017 Lonestar- 0 Down -695 a week-2780 a month-term 84 month= 233,520$ + 1.00$
    That's a big difference,isnt it?

Yep big difference of the down payment and b grade credit. But good luck explaining that to these folks that got ridiculously bad credit and can't save a hundred bucks, let alone 7500.

Preach on, brother trucker! It's just a ProStar with a different nose anyway, not sure the engine options are any different. Unfortunately, I have yet to drive a Navistar product that didn't visit the shop regularly.
