I'm just looking for more opinions to stack on top of my own here. Wife just picked up her school bus for the new year. And once again, bad steer tires.
We live in rural southwest ND.
Last year, she drove a spare bus that had daytons on it and the steers were so weather checked that you could stick a dime in the cracks. They fought her to replace them, but did after I got involved.
Today she sends me this picture. Said she thinks she can feel chords in one of the holes with a small screwdriver. I said I'll look when I get home, but tell the school that its getting new tires nevertheless.
What y'all think?

Junk. But everyone knew that...
I'm a licensed cvip inspector in Canada, I would yank it off the road.
I also own and operate school buses, won't find that crap on my fleet.
Gravel roads are rough on tires. Part of doing business. Also the reason anyone has tried to steal some of our route kms I always get rid of the gravel.
Everyone laughs at the yellow wagons, precious cargo....
As for the maxxfarce.... dts aren't bad if fixed. I run one.
