Hi Folks, I've been working on this school thing for a while. Decided on Jim Palmer after great reviews and is very pet-friendly. Unfortunately, I was told today that they were passing on my application. The recruiter said they get 600+ applicants a week and could only choose 4-5. That's as much as I could get out of him.
I live in Kansas City, MO near KCI Airport. I have a small corgi I want to eventually bring with me on the truck. She'll stay with my family until I'm allowed to have her along. That being said, community college isn't going to work, I need to make some money sooner, rather than later so a CDL school is ideal.
I don't mind the year-long commitments, long OTR rides are great (no home to worry about or relationships) and plan to use this a way to see the country and not just a job. I don't do any drugs, have one 2-year-old 9mph over speeding ticket, and otherwise, I'm good to go.
Can you guys help me sort through all the ######## and find a decent place to start?

FFE (Frozen Food Express) - try this company also. They use private cdl schools
KLLM Transportation - this company also owns FFE. Call to be sure about the pet; rules can change and not be reflected on a website.TokyoJones Thanks this. -
