Watch out for the kids in the truck stops and fuel islands. School has let out in many places and there are already a few kids out running with mom and dad. Some for the first time.
And please watch your language and attitude on the radio.

That's right I forgot about that. School isn't done yet here.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
And if you have your kids with you, please remember that truck stops are full of the brain dead.
Grubby, G13Tomcat, wore out and 1 other person Thank this. -
I stopped at the Pilot in Tolleson, AZ this morning. It was still that kinda dark but JUST enough sunlight peeking over the eastern horizon to justify headlights being on. Lots of shadows in the lot as well.
Anyway, rolling through and this little dog comes running out from between parked trucks being chased by a little tyke of maybe 5-6 yr old.
As mentioned, shadows were around and if I was not crawling through the lot at a snails pace, these 2 oblivious scamps coulda been severely injured or worse.
Oh, the bestest part was dad or at least I assume it was dad, was on the passenger side of truck playing with his phone.
Not a care in the world. SMDH.
Anyway, please refrain from running faster the 4-5 MPH through the lot and fuel island. -
Roberts450, tinytim and STexan Thank this.
