Eerytime I go through the scale, well at least I intend to if it is open. lol
Except in my log truck, it only has a lap belt, so I don't have to.

It doesn't bother me because I don't get up and walk into the sleeper while I'm driving. That's the only possible way it could get in my way. And if I ever get into an accident it'll keep me seated and in control of the truck and not out the window.

All the gear, all the time, as some of my motorcycle riding friends say. Was in a head-on collision in my 20's and the only thing that kept my cranium from interfacing with the (very substantial) top of my car's windshield frame/leading edge of roof was the shoulder belt. Had a 2" wide bruise from my hip to my shoulder because of it, but I walked away.

All of the time. Why volunteer for a ticket?

If DOT and cops really are just looking for revenue, and you know that, and you choose to NOT wear your seatbelt, maybe you aren't smart enough to drive a truck or carry your own money.

Real truckers want to be thrown through the windshield into the pile of hay conveniently located at every accident scene. ;-)

I know you’re jokin, but UPS Freight does for sure. When I peddled freight a driver was tellin me he left the dock at a regular customer, got out swiped the card reader to open the gate, drove thru said gate, then hopped out to swipe his card to close it. He got back to the terminal with a write up waiting. They popped him for not buckling when he drove thru the gate.
