Seat belt and shoulder belt...?

Now, I'm not foolish about it, if I am maneuvering, especially backing, or doing yard moves, I'm not buckling. But if I'm rolling on public roadways, click she goes.

I hate when people buckle the seatbelt behind them, then sit on it. I slip seat and have to share a tractor, and that belt goes across my chest. No way no how do I want to get that comfortable with something that someone else's backside has been parked on top of for who knows how many hours.

 

I know i will get flack. .but i stretch my belt and set the comfort buckle and just let it hang down. If i am getting pulled over (or going through the coops)i buckle it and flip the comfort buckle, and all set for my interview. Remember when seatbelts were just a suggestion, and a warning? Now i see all these dumb stickers that say " click it or ticket". Guess i am stubborn. Oh and my old trucks had none, then my 81 had just a lap belt. I do wear it always in my 4 wheeler..if that counts for anything.

they can. wm gets a message sent to the shop if my seatbelt isnt buckled

 

If I find a camera in my truck I am done anyway.

Not to shop but black box records percentage and most are at 99+%

 

Don't buckle or wear a helmet.
My god given right to die the way I want. Or should be anyhow.

 

When I did field service they actually did track my seatbelt use. It was messed up because I always wore it but it kept telling me I was 75-90% compliant.

 

That don't work everytime, been there, done that, and supposedly it wasn't the thing that saved me.
