    i work for Heniff, pretty sure they want Hazmat exp. but it's worth a try. i'm happy there.
    i talked with Q/C driver and they have terminal in Joliet. i've always read nice things about Superior on here and they will train.

    As a general idea, you could look into hauling gasoline. It's detail-oriented work but if you do that for a year and keep your record clean, buddy you'll have some competitive job offers 12 months down the road.

    So they want you to read and understand the two books before they will hire you? They don't care if you don't know how to properly maneuver, load, or off load product using a tanker trailer? They will teach you that part but won't teach you how to understand hazmat?

    They want you to "know" before you come in, otherwise you won't be coming in. Also, all of their local positions are covered. They're only hiring for regional/otr.
