    Gotta negotiate for the higher pay though. Our policy is 150 miles from the terminal is hourly, over that is mileage. That puts DC, Philly and NYC in timeclock range. The problem is we have a client in Bridgeport CT and because of traffic it's always a 12+ hour day. Every driver at our company has complained that 160 miles for 12 hours is BS, so the boss does the only thing he can, he rotates the run among all the drivers. 3000 miles one week? Your on the short list for CT. (And since I'm mostly hourly, if I get near 48 hours in one week, I'm probably going to CT the following week)

    Ouch. That sucks. Now, if there ever was a town that should fall in the water, it would have to be Bridgeport. I still have nightmares of that place. The sun NEVER shines there in the winter.

    But I made some great money delivering to the power plant right off 95
