So their cars don't get damaged by hail and nevermind the F3/F4 tornado on the ground in the immediate area. They should all lose their licenses for a year at least.

Sometimes...it's just simply too dangerous to drive.
No load -- regardless of how "time sensitive" it may be....is worth more than my life -- or anyone else's.
When weather like that is predicted for my driving area -- I won't be driving during that time.
Period.

I'll be driving right into the area south of Topeka where severe thunderstorms are expected so I'll definitely be looking for a safe haven sometime in the afternoon.

Obviously these folks didn’t learn anything from the May 1999 Moore,Oklahoma tornado!
People thought they would be safe to seek shelter under an overpass in that one-with tragic consequences!

Been in the US numerous times during tornadoes and if you paying attention to news/weather reports i always had time to get off the interstate and find safe haven.
