a rundown the Oak Ridge Police Department was conducting a DUI investigation and the Montgomery county sheriffs office was providing cover on interstate 45 when a secondary accident occurs and as they’re directing traffic around all of that a red semi runs into her car while she’s standing there next to it and killing her.

    Another cereal box-issued CDL involved....maybe?

    :angry5:

My experience suggests...law enforcement vehicles on/next to an interstate are actually pretty easy to see (& avoid).

    :dontknow:

Especially at 2:30 in the morning when all of their lights are flashing…that’s when this occurred

That company can kiss their CSA score (and insurance rates) goodbye.

I think if one dug a little deeper they’ll understand it wasn’t a semi truck but rather a commercial utility vehicle pulling a utility trailer..

But who am I to question all the red flags I see.. Or let’s all assume it’s an illegal because of their name..His mug sure looks like a young wet behind the ears white kid.

And let’s all just be silent on how blindingly bright these emergency vehicles lights are..I’m sure it’s just me that struggles to navigate through these incidents or just ordinary construction at night..

Surprised more officers aren’t taken out..

I didn't know that it was a utility vehicle. The original article said heavy duty commercial truck pulling a trailer and I assumed it was a semi. My comment about the driver being illegal had nothing to do with his citizenship, but rather being 20 years old if he was driving an interstate CDL-A load. In any event, if you see flashing lights ahead in the dark, at the very least you should slow down. And if you're really unsure, you should slow way down.
