Semi runs into MCSO deputy’s car and hits and kills her

Wasn’t trying to pick on anyone.

The 20 year old driving interstate theory is what made me curious about this accident. They didn’t mention anything about it in the charges about being underage.

Then the thread title of it being a semi all while the image of the video shows a utility vehicle. A red semi shown on the right shoulder didn’t make any sense because the accident happened in the #3 lane.

And lastly, one can’t conclude that someone is a foreigner just because of their name..That all changed back in 1969 Loving vs Virginia.

I find some of these posts funny (not the tragedy of the accident) because the person’s name triggers some people.

There was one recently..Amazon driver blew through a red light and killed a women and injured her granddaughter.. The drivers name was Michael and the story never got traction.

Turns out the guy was from somewhere in Africa if I remember correctly. Just happens to be a very popular name there.

 

Age Requirements (Texas Class A CDL)

18 years old — You can get a Class A CDL for intrastate driving only (inside Texas).

 

Our regulations not allowing under 21 to run interstate is what creates the need for non-domiciled foreign drivers.

We exclude a group of people that are trying to decide on a career..at 21 they more than likely found a direction to go in.

To me it’s a ridiculous law..You’re either an adult at 18 or you’re not. Raise the age to enter the military if these same 18 year olds aren’t adults.

 

A lot of beer and beverage companies in Texas used to hire 18-year-olds as helpers for a year and then assist them in getting a CDL, but I think insurance companies put an end to that.

 

Loving v Virginia was decided on June 12, 1967, and ended anti-miscegenation laws. It had nothing to do with immigration.

I was talking about names. I’ve been in an interracial relationship for 23 years Our son is considered a minority but has my last name which is mostly British. No one will question his ethnicity but, if he had his mom’s last name he’d be considered foreign trash.

I had many negro friends growing up and that was never a problem. Mom just didn’t like the idea of mixing race back then. In fact she’s the only one who adored my wife while the rest of the family banished me.

I've fallen in love with more than one black woman in my life. One was from Trinidad and black as coal but man was she gorgeous.

Aside from Mom’s 1967 meltdown racism really wasn’t a thing where I grew up. I really didn’t see much of it until I started OTR trucking. I started in Detroit and wasn’t always welcomed at certain places.

 

The question is was said vehicle commercially plated,and did it have a DOT number?
