Should have fixed them brakes and...

A driver of a semi-truck that crashed into a home in Southeast Nashville in June of 2021 now faces up to 45 charges following a grand jury indictment.

Metro police took Abdalla Arbo, 41, into custody on Thursday and charged him with 32 counts of forgery and multiple carrier safety rules violations after officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol and Metro Nashville Police Department found falsified logbooks and unreported brake issues with Freightliner.

The charges come after a crash that happened in June of 2021 at the corner of Elm Hill Pike and Wanda Drive. Metro police said Abdalla Arbo was operating a tractor-trailer when a Honda Accord turned into the semi’s pathway. Officials say Arbo attempted to avoid the crash but struck the Honda, a Ford F-150 and a Ford Escape before proceeding to crash into the front yard and garage of a nearby home.

According to Metro police, Arbo and the other drivers involved all sustained injuries in the crash. In addition to the 32 charges, Abro also faces two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon by reckless driving, and five counts of reckless endangerment by a motor vehicle.

The Honda driver will probably sue the truck company and get a settlement despite causing the accident.

I remember in cdl driving training basically they said the semi truck drivers are always a fault. If they are not at fault causing accident they are at fault because of speeding or logs or some crap. But that is good question what did the 4 wheeler get for causing the accident.

I blame the house and homeowner.

They house shouldn't have been there. Homeowner should have foreseen this possible outcome when they bought/built the home.

    What a bunch of jerks.

Them #### hondas man. Im telling you ever since the moron with no license or insurance ran a red into my lane ive not trusted anything with an H on it.

In all seriousness even though that honda caused this wreck this guy had it coming as well. Bad brakes. Falsified logs, and likely several other OOS issues.....even if he wasnt at fault for causeing the situation its #### easy to make a case he made things far worse.

So even though he is a victim as much as not here he is going to get shafted up the ### because "evil big twucks"

“Ag assault by reckless driving “ sounds like road rage charge .

Or he was driving 70 in a 35 residential neighborhood or something .
