    Does he have a smartphone? Like can he get his email on his phone?

    If so just email him the photo as an attachment.

    If I send a photo as a text attachment with my android phone it automatically reduces the file size. As a photographer I hate that.

    Patty, if you're on Verizon you can send it from the pix place website to the phone. I imagine most other carriers have something similar.

    Mike, get Handcent. It allows you to send full res pics via text. It's a way better SMS-MMS client than stock.

    I tried Handcent once, for a while. But I could not figure out how to turn off the standard texting so I got all my texts twice! hehehee

    I will try it again. The stock texting does not even have the ability to store quick texts.

    From the standard messaging app, go to settings/notifications, and you can turn them off in there.

    Share the pic to your FB page (assuming you have FD) and he can grab it off your FB page.

    All carriers have an "emailtomms" address. I'm not sure of Verizon's or Sprint's but for instance, from a computer's email program, you can email direct to an att phone as an mms message by using the following "To" email address format ...

    0002224444@mms.att.net put his number in place of the numbers here (include area code). You'll have to browse the other carrier's web sites to find their address nomenclature to use. They typically limit attachment size and if the image is too big, the send will fail so try and keep it under about 500 kbit. (I think ATT limit is around 600k)

    Edit: These might be accurate for the following ..

    Verizon = 0001112222@vzwpix.com
    Sprint = 0001112222@pm.sprint.com

    And the other way around I hear some that don't know how to get a picture off their phone on the internet. All you do is act like you are texting someone a picture. Instead of their number enter your email address and it will go to your inbox. From there you can save it to My Pictures or what file you want.
