I recently replaced the fan belts on series 60 fan hub. Im curious as to how tight they are supposed to be. Based on a few videos I've seen, they have to be tight enough to turn the engine, which is what I've done. Tomorrow is the first load since replacing the belts, and was wondering if anyone has any advice/tips? All advice is appreciated. Thanks i advance for the help.

I replaced the (3) fan belts on my S60 and tightened them up so you could still twist them 90 degrees from rest position - but no further.
I have used that rule for a long time. Not sure where I heard it or how accurate it is but its always worked for me. Maybe an old school thing?

Thats a hard one to get anything accurate on for tension, but thats what I did and it worked fine for me but YMMV :)
