This is my second post trying to identify whining noise that was coming from the engine upon start up in the morning. This morning there was a loud growl noise for about 2 sec 5 miles down the road I get this grinding noise with little bit vibration. It is coming from the front of the engine it might come from fan hub or from inside the front cover not sure. It just happened I made it home luckily still morning dark outside can't check yet . I checked bull gear a week ago solid no movement could fan hub make such noise to me it sounds like a bad bearings that you would get from your rear end.
