Don't let this bother you just apply some place else.

 

How very lame of Heartland.

 

"There are too many slobs in this industry!"

"How dare a company set grooming standards?!"

 

I don't think a pony tail makes that driver a slob.

I'm sure we've all seen far more qualifying criteria.

 

I work for a company with a much higher level image and status than heartless and they don't care. Keep it in a ponytail and represent the company like a professional that's all that matters.

Same with my training company.

Previous to trucking I flew cargo commercially for many years. With a ponytail. As long as it's clean and neat and well kept hair doesn't have a #### thing to do with ability, safety, or professionalism

I mean really lol is heartless worried about some image they're trying to project? That's hilarious. With 5 years in you should be looking at much better companies than heartless. We have some space on some of their yards to do drops for relays. They have a lot of guys that the short hair doesn't help their image one bit lol

 

They did you a solid...now go apply to a real company.

 

Or if you still really wanna work at a crappy company, apply at GTI. You'll be working for Heartland without the no long hair rule.

 

I appreciate what you do even if heartland doesn't.
