I heard someone say that it wont matter until people's orders from amazon are late or they cant find their groceries, guess who has one of the highest paying fleets......Walmart, I call them China mart, but they appear to take care of their truck drivers.
I recently saw an add for truckers with 3 years experience making 1500-1800 weekly and weekends off, guess who theyd be hauling for......yep Amazon. I think they will fill the spot. And keep them filled, those who take care of their drivers are taken care of and dont have shortages. I dont know the exact definition of a private fleet, but I know those two dont count as Megac's. Megac's rarely push their rates and seldom push for weekends off except for those close to terminals or flat bedding companies.

I drive for Walmart. My work schedule is five on, two off (not weekends, I make more for Saturday and Sunday). I choose to work into my sixth day a couple of hours. I’ve been grossing around $4300 per two week paycheck. Not too bad for a company driver.
