On the fence about buying a cb radio i know it helps alot to talk to other drivers, but its the same as not having a cb when there are no other drivers that have them

When was the last time you used your radio?

depends on the industry you are in. I work construction. CB is mandatory for a ll operations and used all day. OVER THE ROAD?, well yeah, why wouldnt you want one. If theres a trafiic jam, other drivers will warn you to get off the highway up on 19.

yes buy one, not too expensive, and just use it out of the box. spend NO MONEY on souping it up for a zillion miles of talking.

some shippers/receivers will contact you via the cb once you enter thier site. just not all shippers/receivers however.

good to have turned on, and listen to traffic jams up ahead, maybe even bad weather at times.

    good luck

I use mine very little,,usually at the yard only. Mostly handy for notice of road incidents to avoid or reroute around.
second hand stores are good source for dirt cheap CBs'. since they not so popular. I paid $10.00 for a Uniden 510...or Ebay,,got a TRC 427 for $14.00

Everyday I have an escort. And when I don’t, I have to put up with the nonsense, because I’m still oversized

I would get one. I have had one since 1974 ( June) anyhoo yes times have changed. Nice thing is you can run with the squelch down. Just hear close proximity. If lots of cb rambos get loud turn volume down. Just a tool that can come in handy at times.

Just passing by and slow.rider Thank this.
