Have a line on a 95 Int with a 99 Detroit super 10 for 15k from a retiring O/O. I have experience running flatbed and dry van. The truck is a midroof so short term without buying a scoop for the roof it's probably best to sign on to run flatbed with her. I was wondering if I could get some recommendations for companies to sign on with that will take a truck that's eld exempt and that old. Willing to try tanker but have no experience. I live in North Alabama relatively close to Birmingham.
Should I buy this old truck

Excellent idea! You’re gonna kill it! Best of luck to you!!

Thank you I've looked at mercer and landstar mercer probably won't take it I'm fairly sure that engine can't communicate with eld. Landstar might. But I don't want to get saddled into a crap company again so I'm looking for suggestions. Won't take less than around 4k/week no sense in making less than double my current company pay considering all the new and glorious ways I will have to blow cash as an O/O
austinmike Thanks this. -
Oooooo you’re just gonna run really hard!! You gonna take advantage of not having an ELD?

I would prefer not to get myself in trouble it's just a good deal. I also don't like exhaust recirculation and def. Dirty oil and 10k repair bills no thanks
