I just got my CDL license and is in the training phrase with Roehl and I got a speeding ticket (doing 70 on a 60 construction site) in my own car. I reported the incident right away and haven't heard anything from hr since. Should I just pay for the ticket or should I fight it?

Will I have to pay for the lawyers fee? And if so, how much will that cost me?

Do you work for free for someone?
No?... So yeah you will have to pay a lawyer..im Kind of taken back that you would think that question would be needed to be even asked...

It be 200-500 or more depending on where its at and the lawyer....

And yeah you will have to pay upfront.

Yes you will still want to fight it.

Start driving your car like your job depends on it... Because it does.

This is the new driver's section so no need to belittle people.

Thanks for your other input though.

If i point out the extremely obvious to someone than yes i will point out how extremly obvious it is. It does no one any good not to point out how extremly obvious some things are. If it only helps 1 person out of 10000000 to become better critical thinkers and be able to start spotting the extreme obvious on there own. Well than its all worth letting the other 9999999 think im just being a a hole.

If a citation equates to points on your license(and every single moving violation DOES) you want to fight it. 100% of the time. Look onto CDL defender or a similar service. It’s like 7 bucks a week or whatever and they will defend literally any charge including helping in a divorce.

Anything you can do to talk yourself into the ticket. You can’t fight a warning and it IS points.

The only tickets you should ever pay without fighting them are California left lane violations, parking tickets and over axle tickets. You fight over gross tickets, as they are points.

This isn’t about the cost of the tickets being lowered. It’s entirely about preserving your driving record. 100% fight it!

That's such a flawed logic. It's the same as a scammer saying their cheating is making people wiser next time. I already thanked you for your contribution so stop stroking your ego.
