sometimes ,money ain't everything. peace of mind or atmosphere can be worth money.
been doing this for over 30 yrs. work for a laid back company now, but don't make the big bucks and don't care.

There are a lot of better jobs out there. Sounds like you may like a smaller company. A small company tends to "some times" put more value in to it's employees, take better care of the equipment, and listen to reason rather than micro manage.

There is no such thing as a perfect company. The lifting part is the only real point I will comment on. You are going to run into bad management and idiots all across the world of trucking. Lots of junk being put on the road. Only you know if you have had enough of this physically demanding labor. Just know this! Make sure if you jump that what looks like nice green grass is not astroturf! Sometimes you have to be there for a while to see this!

Why are you looking to the opinion of other people?

Make up your own dam* mind what you feel is best for you.

Money is not the reason for life, only a provider of the life you have chosen, so choose wisely.

One thing is for sure, if you go there will be trouble but if you stay it will be double.
