Sitting for 4 days …

    I agree with Dave.....try to stick it out your first year. You started in January so yoi don't have longer to go. Either it gets better where you are after a year, or if you choose to move on, the options open up a little more. Its usually pretty rough the first year. Its going to be up and down, especially with a mega.

    You have 6 months in. That's not so bad. In other words. That's the first-time period where better jobs become available. I look at indeed. Type in cdl A. Near where you live. On boarding takes 2 weeks to 2 months. After a year you will have a bunch of options.

    I'm spoiled doing tanker. Shorter, lower, and no sliding tandems. Just put up with slosh, which is no big deal

    Im going other direction. If you jump ship. Just stay at that company for 6 months.

    Houston is a yuge tanker market, Dallas is good too.

    Yup, the only time the surge is really a problem is when you're going through the cities with a lot of red light and stuff, other than that, it's smooth sailing.
