We are a small family-owned specialty carrier based in Anchorage, looking for the right long-term driver to join our operation.
We haul aviation components and other high-value freight across the Lower 48 and periodically between Alaska and the Lower 48 via the ALCAN Highway.
Our primary customers include small aircraft manufacturers, so reliability and professionalism matter more to us than just running miles.
This is not a high-turnover seat. We’re building a long-term operation and want the right operator who takes pride in doing the job properly.
Equipment
Pay
- Volvo Class 8 tractor
- 53’ dry van with lift gate
- Well-maintained equipment
- No slip-seating
Estimated annual earnings typically $62k – $95k depending on miles and time out.
- $0.62 CPM on ALL miles (loaded + empty)
- Pay increases after 1 year with clean safety record
- $75/day standby pay if waiting on freight
- $20 per stop for multi-stop deliveries
- 70% of detention pay goes directly to the driver
- Weekly direct deposits
- W-2 position
Home Time
Home time earned at 1 day for every week out.
We make every effort to route drivers toward home when it’s time for days off.
You do not need to live in Alaska.
The Work
This job involves transporting:
Loads require careful securement and attention to detail
- aircraft wings, fuselages
- various aviation components
- vehicles and other specialty freight
- general freight
You will interact with our clients and aircraft manufacturing facilities, so professionalism matters.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who wants to stay with a company and grow with it, not bounce from job to job
- CDL-A with a safe driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable OTR experience
- Valid passport required or the ability to obtain one for Canadian deliveries and crossings on Alaska routes
- Comfortable with winter driving
- Able to handle high-value cargo responsibly
