Just had smoke machine run on my truck to check for boost leaks. Found smoke coming out of my oil fill tube. Any thoughts? Truck does not use oil. 700k miles.

    EGR motor?
Could be doubling back through the EGR. Or really bad piston rings.

Seems like my engine is pushing coolant through those little hoses at the middle of the coolant reservior now.

Isn't this normal if the motor is running hard? I mean the little tube out along the radiator? The expansion tank saves coolant when hot, and goes back in when cools down and vacuum is created in cooling system.
I did compression test on my last truck @ aprox 1 mil miles, and came out worst than yours, I've been told to start saving for inframe. I drove and sold the truck at 1.8 mil, the buyer is still running over 2 mil. mil without inframe.
I don't know how accurate are this computer generated tests , i understand are done by shutting down each injector ? There 's no pressure sensor in each cylinder , it's just a calculation of other sensors data.
I studied transportation engineering 25-30 years ago back in Romania, we were a bit primitive less computers . I remember the compression test was done removing injectors one by.one for diesel or spark plug for gasoline motors , insert an air fitting with gauge and read one by one every cilinder. I would still trust that method more than a computer program , perhaps was designed to sell trucks ,make more $$$ on parts and services.

Not normal if the coolant is pushing past the tubes and blowing all over the valve cover. They are thinking my air compressor is going tits-up. The air compressor has been rumbling more and making alot of noise lately. A failed heaf gasket on a compressor can pressurize the coolant system.

If the compression test is accurate , shows a drop in compression capabilities from cilinder 4 to 5 and worst 6, could be head gasket if cilinder close to each other are affected.

I was thinking that too. Volvo wants to do a coolant pressure test now. I guess that will tell me if my head gasket is toast.
