Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

I'm like a 350 mile/day team...

 

Followed a WFX across part of OK today, and I was baffled by his actions. Every time someone came up to pass him (car or truck) he would throw on his 4-ways. Randomly he would change lanes from the right to the left for no reason, drive in the left lane for 5 or so miles, then, just before someone passed him on the right, he would change back and cut them off. I finally got by him when he got pinned behind a slower RV and he didn't have quite enough room to cut me off. He was one of those drivers that makes you go "hmmmmm"


Managed to make it from the W. Memphis yard to the Love's in Amarillo today(which is my fuel stop). Saw the sun most of the day for the first time in a while. While at the yard last night, looking out the window at the lot, and the rain was going sideways almost like I was in a hurricane...made me a little homesick

 

I can dock without using the throttle... although this truck hops and jumps (even in creep mode) like Jimmy Stewart on a pogo stick, it slips the clutch most of the way, then just before I bump the dock it either aborts creep mode, or dumps the clutch and slams the trailer into the dock before I can hit the brake hard enough to overpower the thrust of the mighty Briggs and Stratton engine.

 

I think it's a vegan conspiracy. Vegans have infiltrated the meat industry at the highest level and conspired to raise prices as high as possible in order to keep the average citizen from affording it resulting in their increased consumption of plant based products. Thus secretly converting the average carnivore into a vegetarian.

Ok, I'll put my tinfoil hat back on for a while....

 

I had a similar thought when I was at the JBS plant last week. I would also like to add that the smell of a steak or burger on the grill would also make me fall off the vegan wagon. "Beef, it's what's for dinner"

 

Probably why Love's squeegees have the foam part falling off and/or the rubber part is so worn out that it streaks the windows worse than they were before they were cleaned. Or why Pilot has the cheapest ones available that they start to come apart with the slightest pressure.
