You have obviously never had one. I used to think that to, until we owned one. Pitbulls are only dangerous if they've been mistreated, like most large breeds. Rotties, Dobermans, German Shepherds are just as dangerous. We had one for over 5 years and her only real danger was that she was a goofball and a clutz and got overly excited (playfully) when someone she hadn't seen in a while showed up. I have scars from her accidental claw mishaps when she would try to get close and cuddley and from being jumped on when I would come home. But she would do everything she could to intervene to stop someone from being upset. If I were sitting at the table drinking coffee and cussing at my phone because it's a piece of dysfunctional crap, she would come running and try to kiss or distract me so I wouldn't be mad at this stupid piece of junk. When my wife would use a rolling pin to roll out sore muscles in my back after a hard day with the honey do list, she would go between drowning me with kisses and try to gently bite the rolling pin to get the rolling pin off my back so it would quit hurting her daddy. If I play slapped my wife's butt just to rile her up, she would get between us and try to kiss us both, and would put herself in the line of fire and would rather take the slap herself rather than my wife taking it. Hell, we had a teacup Pomeranian that was more aggressive and drew blood more often (from my fingers mostly because that's the only thing it could get it's mouth around).

A pitbull is like any other dog. Raised properly, they are a great dog. We had a pit/lab mix. Lost her at almost 13. We still miss her terribly. She was the sweetest dog you would ever want to meet.Friend, hope not dumb twucker, TNSnowman and 1 other person Thank this.

I am currently working on a plan to avenge her loss. Focused ultra high frequency. We found out where these people live, and can just see their house from ours. A constant 120+db, 20,000hz sound aimed at their house 24/7 will drive their dogs nuts. Then after a while, a dead possum with a bunch of snail/slug poison(and sprayed with k9 pheromones) will appear on their property one night. It will look like the possum was poisoned and died on their property and their rotti will find it and instinctively try to eat it. Snail/slug poison is very deadly to dogs. Hell, if I knew someone that had some LSD and wouldn't get busted if they donated some to the cause, regular doses of hamburger laced with LSD would cause the dog to freak out, and they would shoot the dog themselves...I am also working on an ultra low frequency sound system so when they are on their walks past our house, a high db amount of ultra low frequency that isn't audible, can causes nausea and disorientation in humans and will make it very uncomfortable for them to walk down my road.
Friend, Trucker61016 and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
Be very careful in what you post because if something is illegal or considered to be harmful you could be held responsible even if you didn't do anything wrong.Friend, Trucker61016, kemosabi49 and 5 others Thank this.

Dont punish the dogs/pets for the actions of their owners. Their pets didn't take your pup away, the scumbag human did. Think before you act.Friend, O.Henry, brian991219 and 5 others Thank this.

The LSD is illegal (besides I wouldn't know anybody with some or how to find any) so that one is a long shot. Poisoning...yeah, but investigating to find out that was the cause, so them seeing this is incredibly remote. The sonic attack...just self protection, and there is nothing they can do. Heck, with my spare time at home, I might become one of those 4th amendment auditors and sit on a public street and film all the coming and going in my neighborhood...and there isn't #### they can do.
We found out, we aren't their only victims. My granddaughter's best friend lives next door to them and say there are others in the neighborhood that have had a similar experience, only they're affeaid to stir up trouble with him so they didn't call the cops. As pissed as my wife is, bring it on, she is as good of a shot as I am and always has her ,32 within arms length. With Florida's laws, and the public knowledge that he carries a firearm (and uses it)...one step on our property and it's her word against his, and dead men tell no tales.Friend, hope not dumb twucker, mitrucker and 2 others Thank this.
