Snackbar's new adventure at Moore Freight Services

Did a short run to Adel, GA and back from Church Hill. Now I am picking up a load in the morning going to southern 'Joisey' for Thursday. Not as busy as I was, but the way things worked out I managed to take 7 days off without having a $0 paycheck. So, all and all, I can't really complain.

 

Not been as productive after my mini vacation. I am sitting under a load in Jacksonville right now. Picked it up Saturday out of Church Hill (came out 6 hours late)that was suppose to deliver here Weds, but they got it moved up to today. I hope this is just a seasonal summer slump and things pick back up soon. I had enough slow months earlier this year.

 

Kinda thought so, 88 Alpha mentioned something about it being a former member. That's the only person that would take credit for "getting me out of Poly". Oh wait...that's janet that started the magnum thread...I was thing about the other person named sisyphus....unless they're the same person

 

I'm not sure glass follows the same pattern that general flatbed freight does since it's such a niche market. According to what the experienced glass haulers here say, between May and Thanksgiving they are usually running their tails off, but this year hasn't been a typical year.

 

Glass on a flatbed? Regular flatbed and glass is 2 totally different worlds.
