I’m so close to getting this dump dumping ! just changed out hyraulic pump and hoses … noticed that after testing it (no action ) that there was a airline hidden ( no fittings on it ) “hmmm “ I thought — guess this goes to pto ( I’m new to this .)
So went to loves got a fitting and was putting it on ; then snap ! The tip went flying , while the threaded brass remains snug .
so I have a few questions :
1.) how do I get that out ?is their a tool that fits on hollow circles that I can turn left to in screw ?
Or do I need to ? On this Chelsea there is an Alan bolt on the bottom ( identical diameter) of air solenoid … thought about just using that one but when I unscrewed ; trans fluid gushed out .
2.) can someone explain the physics of a pto — it seemed odd to push air through fluids . Figured air bubbles would cause pitting
3.) what cause the original line and brass fitting to bust off while going down the road ? Usually when an air lone goes , I’ve always had “reminants” ; this was a clean break .
thank y’all
