I'm tentatively hired on a company that will require me to be in a hotel for 2 or 3 nights a week, and then I come back and do home-daily deliveries. My question is, has anyone ever sneaked in their small pet into their trucks while doing overlay routes? I have a small hamster, beared dragon, and a parakeet bird, I'm thinking about bringing one of these along with me during those overlay routes, but I'm not sure what'll happen if I get caught because my company don't allow pets. What do you guys think?

Just put them all in the same cage overnight.
The dragon engulfs the other two... you can leave the dragon alone for multiple days at a time unfed, as it's a reptile, and their metabolic rate is much lower than warm blooded creatures.

    Problem solved.

You aren't endangering your job in this volatile time when you really shouldn't be monkeying with the works in any fashion because jobs are hard to replace at this time.

    That's the long answer.

Short answer. NO. Don't do it.

How far away from home will they be sending you? Would you like to walk home from there or find a different way home because you were fired?

i would have taking the dragon in with me during the interview. the dragon is better then any union contract. you could have started off at $35 a hour.

Plus, the hotel they have contracted with will likely not allow pets at all. Not only is your boss going to fire you, the hotel is going to charge them the extra bucks to clean the room.

You will be reprimanded for violating the rules. Find a company that will allow you to bring your pets, if it is that important to you.

I’d have to agree. Seems to be more trouble than it would be worth IMHO.

More than likely, the company will probably flat out fire you. Do NOT risk your job over a pet, It's NOT worth it.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
