Snoqualmie Pass... fair warning

    An FYI to everyone, WSDOT and WSP are teaming up to enforce chain laws. Today they had all eastbound trucks pull off at the 38 to have chains inspected. They’ve grown tired of so many spin outs on the pass because some yahoos think they can barefoot it across. Matter of fact, just a few miles up from the inspection area, there were three trucks spun out all in the same area. Not sure how they got past the inspection area, or maybe if they were already there when inspections started.

    Do you not travel OUTSIDE OF Washington State?

    Yes, they were checking to see if each driver had enough.

    Yes, I travel outside Washington state. I’m not sure what 4th of July and Lookout have to do with Washington State Patrol and Washington Department of Transportation, though. I was commenting on Washington state, not Montana or Idaho.

    I Also know that-

    I Guess I have to Spell it out.....The REASON I specified Lookout and 4th passes is Maybe I have Travelers coming that Direction and Maybe you'd Know about those Passes also. sheesh
