I went backwards because I like to work on my own stuff and the biggest frustration I had with the new truck was the limited amount of things I could do without techtool being involved. Plus you can't modify a D13. I plan on putting a PDI stage 1 turbo, performance exhaust manifold, high flow mufflers and a high flow charge air cooler.

I admit. I am going to miss the rapid warm-up and cold weather performance of the D13. I hear the Series 60 can be a pain to start in the cold.
olddog_newtricks Thanks this. -
What's your definition of cold? We never had much trouble starting the 14L Series 60's if they were plugged in. Even at -30 if they had 4 good batteries.
-
Anything below freezing is cold for me. And this one is a 12.7L

Since the engine is a 99, now you can use paper logs.
If you don’t mind me asking, how many miles were on the truck and what did you wind up paying for it? -
I have a 2001 VNL770 N14 500hp, 13 speed, 3.42, just turned 1 million, had it since 2004 and trouble free 99% of the time I’ve owned it.
Take care of those lower fairings/skirts, Volvo says they are discontinued.
You couldn’t get me to sell mine and get into a newer truck with all sensors and problems.KB3MMX Thanks this. -
they ended up giving me $25,000 for my 2013 which I probably could have gotten more but because someone's stupid decided to screw around with his exhaust system I was just happy to find someone who was willing to take it off my hands. Lol
