Currently driving it otr long haul. Has that 445 hp mp8 motor and the mshift auto trans. Any ideas on what the truck Would be valued at next october? New sale cost 250k which is hard to believe.

$250k is nuts. That's around what we pay for our heavy haul sleeper trucks with all the boxes, decking and fab work done.
rabbiporkchop, MGE Dawn and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this. -
CousinVinny Thanks this.

It is a R.A.T aka rent a truck aka lease purchase. There is enough information on this subject. Those 5 or 6 years of payments have nothing to do with purchasing the truck.
Those are the rental payments. The next 2 years would be what the market value price of the truck is worth. The truck is not worth 250k. I don't know what that weekly payment you are paying.
I would saying their more than likely included the maintenance & insurance etc in that payment. Their also including a bit for themselves along with a fortune from the freight bill aka $1 per mile for you.
I will sum it up by saying your being taken to the cleaners then to the car wash for extra measure & finally hung up to dry. If you have any more questions or concerns there is a class everyday on how not to be hoodwinked & bamboozled. You just have to listen.
I hope the best for you seriously.Last edited: May 21, 2019

$250K dollars is one expensive Volvo.
The Mack anthems have a good tendency to start falling apart after 3 months according to drivers. -
They don't cost $250k, I just got a few and not one of them were over $140k loaded.
If you are going to buy a truck, save your money for a good down payment, don't get into a lease at all.JoeyJunk, LoneRanger, highwayMike and 1 other person Thank this. -

Love the look hate the truck.
$250k better include the smoking hot girl in the passenger seat for a year. Encouraging me to run 3k miles at $5 per mile so that I can get benefits.
