I am wondering what your position in the patch is Nitrogen? I am headin to the "Hat" at the end of the month to start a career in gas well testing. I have some background in the patch from haulin water and vac on a couple rigs to workin on a couple rigs to haulin em from lease to lease. I think this should be fun and the $$ is pretty dern good for runnin around in a pickup all day...

I'm a supervisor at Canadian Nitrogen Services. we operate a trailer package that generates onsite gaseous nitrogen from the atmosphere. have you been involved with well testing before? I found that when i tried it that the supervisors were generally pretty ignorant to their operator, didn't really teach them etc, had to pick up well testing knowledge by basking in their presence. if you have a class 1, look us up in Crossfield, just north of Calgary. i think very decent $ the works not particularily physical, initially it might seem kind of boring until you understand more of what is going on downhole. we are a small company with lots of growth opportunity. the shareholders are well enough off the company can handle down time without going belly up.if you think we're worth checking out call Jacque at 1 877 284 0404. I've been here just over 2 years and its one of the best jobs, with a great boss that i have had in 25 years, and now i get to run around in a pickup too

Wow! thanks very much, I certainly appreciate the offer there. I do have a class 1, but right now I am pretty much limited to driving my pickup till the end of the year. I was a ####### and got nailed right after the new .08 law came into effect in BC last year so I now have one of those blowers, as I call em, hangin in the truck for a year. The outfit I am going to work for is owned by a good friend of mine and so I think the working relationship will be pretty fair. I am going as a contractor so I can still use my own riggin and everything will be alot easier that way. Are your guys on day rate or hourly?
-
combination of monthly salary plus dayrate. oh yeah that drinkin thing sure can mess up your job prospects
-
OHHH man it sure can....instantly put me out of a job as an O/O and then they smack ya with 7G's in fines and all the BS...I am fortunate that I had and still have a few trucks on the road at the time that are doin pretty well to keep the cash flow...
-
just move into management then
