    I've been reading this story since it began, and all I can say is good for the US Navy. I hope these pirates will learn that we will not stand for this type of unprovoked attacks, and this is what will happen in the future..

    Probably not. He may have given "standing orders" by "proxy" but "he" has to make the call.

    His MAIN job is "to protect and defend"...he has "the final word"...it's called "responsibility"...as Commander in Chief his (responsibility) is the preceding, anything less, "blame" would lay at his feet, by default not desire.
