Yup.
My Qualcomm #### the bed and won’t power up or communicate. Maybe it’s because I was beating it with a hammer maybe I wasn’t. I won’t tell. Breakdown says they’ll get me a load and route me back to my home terminal.
I’m 28 miles from my delivery and I have 3-4 paper log books. It’s roughly 540 miles back to the shop. Is that about 3 hours on paper logs? lol
Also...Weirdly, as soon as I said “paper log” three times a Sam Elliot mustache erupted from my face, and I swear my belt buckle got bigger as well.
I’m ready to do this. As soon as I finish filling my DEF tank and wait for all the nanny truck stuff to fire up. I’m gone at a speed governed pace of 54mph.
Hammer down boys we gonna ride!!
This post is strictly for humor. No laws have or will be broken. I super extra promise on that. For real. I’m not kidding. What kind of moron would post about breaking the law on a public forum.
Some Outlaw #### is about to happen. Qualcomm down!

Some government executives brag about committing felonies on Twitter and national television.........
P.S. you might be a super trucker. -
If you feel motivated you could try disconnecting the power from the QC blackbox. There is also a backup battery behind a small panel with two screws. Take out the battery and let it sit for a few minutes. Then put it all back together.
x1Heavy and otterinthewater Thank this. -
I would have to pack my crap, ship it home, and get a cab to the airport if my Qualcomm ever takes a dump

I smell what you are stepping in. I would never say out loud that I'm ELD exempt, I rarely do paper logs, that my time sheet is just for looks, or that 10 hours off is just a suggestion.
Nope won't hear me say that out loud!otterinthewater Thanks this. -

I heard our trucks are speed limited to 66 on the pedal. 68 on cruise control. I never even gone close to that fast even downhill with a tailwind. For the Grapevine I go to full jakes when I get into Orange County or Bakersfield.
I just found out if they can’t get me under a load I get breakdown Pay while I wait.
$35 per day. Oh joy. I’m rich! Take that you O/O’s. I get PAID when my truck isn’t working. *sigh* -
Who needs a CB? 54 mph leaves plenty of time to check all the latest smartphone apps for traffic, accident reports, and to see which lane is open.

Sounds like a first time on a paper "high".
I've ran so dirty in the past that I left dusty footprints.
The only thing to remember is..
1)shhhhhh !!
2)have NO corresponding evidence to link you to another place/time that doesn't jive with your present log book.
3) If you have to present your book to an inspector, know what you wrote down.
4)when running "dirty", obey the other laws to keep from being a beacon of light that says "Get Me!".
5) SSSHHHHHHHHHHHH !Last edited: Sep 16, 2018
