Also do most truck drivers have to drive on Sundays too?

If you choose a trucking career where you don't drive on Sundays, can you still sleep in your truck on Sundays?

Also would it be better for me to wait a few years until "the last 3 years" moving violations and accidents is clear when I sign up for universal trucking job application form?

Most co's (OTR) you can take the truck home. I usually get in on friday or saturday and leave sunday afternoon. Anytime you have a clean record you will have more options. Start talking to the co's you are interested in and see what they say. Don't take the word of what the school says.

we do what we have to to get the load there on time. Nights, sundays, long hours, you name it. Kind of like the post office, rain, snow, sleet and gloom of night. (without the large paychecks of course). but with that said I still have fun at my job. new places and faces. But as I've said before, it's not for everyone. Try a local job for awhile and get a few years on you and make your move to otr. If you can stick it out for a year or two and your not insane maybe you have found a new career?
